With prop planes positioned overhead and classic cars gleaming in every direction, hundreds of thirsty fundraisers gathered last evening for One Yellow Rabbit’s fabulous Wine Stage event at Heritage Park. This year, One Yellow Rabbit and its world-famous High Performance Rodeo celebrated 30 years. After an extraordinary anniversary festival earlier this winter, Wine Stage felt like a proper nightcap toast.

We attendees were greeted with what can only be described as a ‘boa’ of tickets – a healthy string of 30 drink tickets (no tickets required for food tastings) to enjoy the evening. Each ticket earned you a wine tasting. There was an incredible turnout from the wine and culinary community in Calgary (and Banff!) from Ox & Angela and River Cafe to Bin 905 and Big Rock Brewery (which had – wait for it – a champagne beer cask!).

Wine Stage is not only a fun but FULL of value – tickets were $125 and included all the food and beverage sampling you could handle. Did not find one person who managed to get through all 30 tickets.
Wine Stage is presented each year by One Yellow Rabbit.
