Event In Review: LOOK2016 for Contemporary Calgary

On October 22, 2016 the doors to the Centennial Planetarium were once again opened to Canada’s cultural revolutionaries for LOOK2016, in support of Contemporary Calgary. Boom Goes the Drum was honoured to once again produce the event in collaboration with Contemporary Calgary and it’s extraordinary LOOK2016 Event Committee. LOOK2016’s official after party, The Factory Party, was curated and presented by the genius tastemakers at The Modern Leisure. Marketing & PR was lead by Alex Kingcott, Shareworthy Content Lab. VIP+Dinner ticket holders were treated to an artistically inspired pop-up restaurant experience provided by LOOK2016 Executive Chef Brett McDermott of Our Daily Brett. Special shout outs to our supporting partners Rockethouse Productions, FMAV, and Hotel Arts. It takes a village to pull off this kind of transformation and sell out a fundraiser – thank you to everyone for extraordinary work.

Enjoy these photos from the event. Photo credit Phil Crozier, PHOTOPHILCRO and courtesy of Contemporary Calgary – we were so lucky to have his talented eye on site to capture the evening. Thank you Phil! Full album is HERE.

The entrance glimmered thanks to an installation by Dave Dyment.
