Elevate, elevate, elevate. Alberta Ballet needed assistance in improving their guest experience throughout their season, so that what guests experienced from the stage was the same as what they experienced in the lobby.

There’s little the Boom team loves more than a great show, and Alberta Ballet continually delivers some of the most compelling and graceful performances Calgary is lucky enough to play host to. When we came on board in 2016, our goal was to take the magic taking place on stage and transfer it to the pre and post show experience.
Encore
The next three years saw a delightful display of the kind of wonder Alberta Ballet is known for! During their nutcracker performance, guests could meet a gown-clad smiling Clara and a dapper nutcracker prince, happily waving from a custom-built, cheerily painted sleigh, positioned neatly in the lobby. For the Dracula performance, a themed, family-style dinner was hosted by the Alberta Ballet, where guests could enjoy a series of macabre nibbles with a glass of blood-red merlot. Over the 7 performances AB Ballet would perform each year, our team was on board to translate the atmosphere of the performance into unforgettable pre and post show guest experiences.
THE RESULTS
The Alberta Ballet was thrilled to see the magnetism of their performances displayed off the stage for guests to enjoy. Perhaps more importantly for the Ballet, however, was Boom’s ability to act as sounding board, planner, and executor for the organization, so they could focus on making ballet magic. In the three years since we began working with the Ballet, Boom oversaw the front-of-house experiences of over 20 performances, delighting over 150, 000 ballet lovers from across Alberta.
